Export X/Twitter research data from supported current-session sources.

X / Twitter Exporter makes public social research easier to save and review. It uses the current browser URL to recommend a source and lets the user choose fields, format, query filter, and sort order.

Quick start

  1. Open x.com or twitter.com.
  2. Navigate to a supported source such as a profile, search page, tweet thread, list, community, followers page, or following page.
  3. Open the Web Tidy popup and choose Export.
  4. Confirm the recommended source or choose another source.
  5. Pick fields, format, query filter, and sort.
  6. Export and review the file.

Supported source types

Current source profiles cover tweets, users, community members, lists, DMs, muted keywords, and Grok records. Public research flows include user tweets, tweets and replies, media, search timeline, search people, search media, search lists, tweet threads and replies, retweeters, quotes, followers, following, verified followers, list info, list tweets, list members, list followers, and communities.

Sensitive current-session sources are explicitly marked in the source catalog: likes, bookmarks, bookmark folders, DM conversations, blocked users, muted users, and muted keywords.

Gated sources include XChat and Grok/XChat protocol areas. The catalog marks them as gated because private decryption key material or unstable local-only QA would be required. Do not market those as generally available.

Output fields

Tweet fields include tweet type, ID, created time, username, display name, text, language, source, retweets, likes, replies, quotes, bookmarks, views, media fields, conversation ID, reply IDs, quote IDs, and retweet IDs.

User fields include ID, name, screen name, description, avatar, created time, followers, following, verification flags, location, URL, privacy status, and relationship fields.

List, community-member, DM, muted-keyword, and Grok profiles have their own field sets. The popup defaults to the first 12 fields for the selected source.

Formats and sorting

  • Formats: CSV, JSON, Markdown.
  • Sorting: newest first, oldest first, ID, or name.
  • Query filtering searches across row values before export.

Boundaries

Keep this SKU positioned as a current-session research exporter. It should not promise private key handling, password access, DM scraping as a public feature, platform-limit bypass, or account automation.
