Instagram Profile Sorter vs CSV Export
Choose a temporary in-page shortlist or an authorized persistent CSV by the output, reuse, sharing, and verification the job requires.
On This Page
Choose an in-page sorter when you need to see which currently loaded posts on an accessible profile deserve inspection now. Choose an authorized CSV workflow when the deliverable requires formulas, persistence, cross-time comparison, sharing, or handoff. INS Sorter creates no CSV, JSON, XLSX, download, report, or dashboard. If a file is mandatory, do not mistake a temporary grid for an export.
View and file are different outputs
INS Sorter takes one supported profile grid visible to the current Chrome session and the cards loaded in this run. Its output is a temporary in-tab order by Likes, Comments, Views, or Date. CSV here means an authorized, field-defined row-and-column workflow; it is not a hidden SKU10 feature and does not justify unauthorized collection.
The same conceptual input in two shapes
Assume 12 current cards, with some missing fields:
SORTER VIEW (temporary, current tab)
rank post chosen field evidence
1 P07 Likes=840 visible card/source-post check
2 P03 Likes=610 visible card/source-post check
— P11 Likes=missing missing stays missing
CSV FILE (authorized, persistent)
post_id,observed_at,likes,comments,views,published_at
P07,2026-08-31,840,31,,2026-08-21
P03,2026-08-31,610,52,9100,2026-08-18
P11,2026-08-31,,18,,2026-08-12The CSV is an anonymous schema illustrating output shape, not an INS Sorter export. Blank evidence stays blank.
View-vs-file limitation matrix
Six delivery checks
- Name the deliverable: “current visual shortlist” or “saved rows.”
- Record profile, observation date, set boundary, and field definitions.
- For a sorter, record field, direction, target, and terminal state; open the Top 3 source posts.
- For CSV, verify header, row count, blank policy, time column, authorization, and the actual file.
- Sample at least three rows/posts for identity and value alignment.
- Say “current loaded set” or “this authorized export scope,” never “full history.”
Limits
INS Sorter exports no file, copies no media, builds no database, runs no spreadsheet formulas, performs no monitoring, and changes no public Instagram grid. “All” is not a complete-history guarantee. Virtualization can make cumulative scanned and current candidate counts differ. Competitor products may bundle sorting and export; that does not add those features to SKU10.
What to do next
For a temporary visual shortlist on the current profile, use INS Sorter. If acceptance requires .csv, formulas, sharing, cross-time analysis, or handoff, use a separate authorized workflow that truly creates the file. The nearest cluster page is not public, so no placeholder link appears here.
Frequently asked questions
Does INS Sorter have an export button?
The verified SKU10 contract has no CSV, JSON, XLSX, report, or dashboard output.
Can I copy results into a spreadsheet and call it export?
Manual recording is a separate workflow with its own fields, authorization, blank policy, and verification. It is not a SKU10 export.
Does a CSV guarantee complete account history?
No. It proves only the actual authorized scope and generation time; record its window and row count.
Can missing become zero in either output?
No. Missing means no reliable evidence was available, not a measured zero.
