Find Most Commented Instagram Profile Posts

Rank a current loaded profile set by visible Comments, inspect each source thread, and separate conversation from giveaways or support noise.

To find highly commented posts on an Instagram profile, first fix a loading scope, then set INS Sorter to Comments and descending. That produces a reading queue for the currently loaded set—not a quality ranking. Open every candidate at its source and determine whether the count came from genuine questions, experience sharing, giveaway entries, complaints/support, engagement pods, or generic reactions. More comments does not mean better conversation or better content.

What this workflow covers

Use it to identify source threads worth reading in one profile grid that the current session can access. It uses visible Comments values and manual source-thread review. It does not use private Insights, sentiment analysis, account reports, or continuous monitoring.

The result cannot prove commenter quality, purchase intent, positive sentiment, or causality. Missing Comments remains missing, and the loaded set is not complete account history. Sorting never changes the public grid.

A decision table for high-comment candidates

The URL field is structurally present but redacted in this anonymous example. In real work, paste the actual URL opened from the source card; a screenshot or rank alone is not enough.

A reviewable shortlist records the real source URL, current Comments, loading scope, review time, dominant mechanism, counterexamples, and a stop condition. A saved “Top 10” without these fields cannot explain why a post ranked high.

Choose the research question first

  • For concrete experience sharing, prioritize C-D and inspect the prompt and reply depth.
  • For pre-purchase questions, prioritize C-F and group question types without calling them sales.
  • For risk discovery, C-C may be useful, but resolved and unresolved complaints must be separated.
  • For giveaway-mechanism research, C-A is a valid sample; for organic conversation research, exclude it.

From sorting to thread review in seven steps

  1. Open a one-segment profile visible to the current session and record the profile and time.
  2. Load a Count or Date scope. Record Loaded and terminal state; a stopped set is partial.
  3. Choose Comments and descending. Treat ranks only as a reading queue.
  4. Save the actual source URL and current visible Comments for the top five to ten. Never fill missing with zero.
  5. Open each post and label the main mechanism: question, experience, giveaway, complaint/support, pod/generic, or other.
  6. Read a fixed sample, such as the newest visible 20 comments, and state sampling order and stop condition.
  7. Output both “candidates worth deeper reading” and “high-count posts excluded by mechanism.” Do not output an unsupported “best content” list.

Verification checklist

  • Profile, Count/Date, Loaded, Comments ↓, terminal state, and time are recorded.
  • Every shortlist row has a real source URL, Comments, mechanism, stop condition, and non-conclusion.
  • Giveaway, support, pod, and emoji traffic did not leak into an “organic discussion” conclusion.
  • Every candidate was opened; missing values stayed missing.
  • The result is explicitly limited to the currently loaded set and determines reading priority, not causality or conversion.

Limits

Comments is a currently available visible count, not private Insights and not guaranteed complete or static. Comments may be deleted, limited, folded, or changed after review. Language, sampling order, and manual classification affect interpretation, so keep counterexamples and stop conditions.

INS Sorter does not export comments, CSV/JSON/XLSX, copy media, run sentiment analysis, monitor changes, publish replies, or modify posts. Stop at login, privacy, challenge, or access restrictions; never bypass them.

FAQ

Does most commented mean best engagement?

No. Giveaways, complaints, pods, and short reactions can all inflate the count.

Must I read every comment?

Not necessarily, but use a predeclared, repeatable sampling order and stop condition, and retain counterexamples.

Can the tool classify sentiment?

No. SKU10 has no sentiment analysis; manual labels also need evidence and uncertainty.

Is missing Comments the same as zero comments?

No. It only means the current page did not provide a readable value.

Will sorting reply to or change comments?

No. It only temporarily reorders loaded post cards in the current tab.
