Best Instagram Non-Follower Export Tools: 5 Reviewable Options
Compare five ways to find and export current Instagram non-followers by input, local processing, CSV support, history, and evidence limits.
On This Page
The best Instagram non-follower tool depends on the input you already have. If you have your official Instagram ZIP, a browser-based checker can classify the relationships locally. If you need reviewable CSV/XLSX rows from a profile your current session can access, export Followers and Following separately, then compare the files in a spreadsheet.
One distinction matters before choosing anything:
Current non-followers = Following − Followers
Historical unfollowers = Older Followers − Newer FollowersA current non-follower may never have followed you. No one-file checker can reconstruct a complete historical event log.
Disclosure: Web Tidy publishes this comparison and develops Instagram Follower Exporter. Its product exports the two source lists; it does not calculate or auto-remove non-followers. Competitor pages were opened on August 30, 2026. We did not upload a real ZIP, install competitors, create accounts, or purchase upgrades.

How these tools were selected
Each option needed a current first-party product page that explained its input, relationship output, file behavior, or processing boundary. We applied the same decision fields to every option: source data, current versus historical meaning, CSV availability, saved history, processing location, and known gaps.
This is a tool-selection page. For the actual spreadsheet formula, use Who Doesn't Follow Me Back on Instagram. For a broader relationship and ratio reference, use Compare Instagram Followers vs Following.
1. Web Tidy export + spreadsheet
Best for: keeping the underlying rows, task state, and source profile in reviewable files.
Instagram Follower Exporter runs one audience direction at a time: Followers or Following. Choose 100, 200, 500, or 1,000 rows and download CSV or native XLSX. It deduplicates by account ID by default and writes 14 fields: id, pk, username, profileUrl, fullName, profilePicUrl, isVerified, followedByViewer, requestedByViewer, audience, sourceProfile, sourceProfileUrl, collectedAt, and rowIndex.
Run Followers and Following with the same target, ceiling, and a similar collection time. Then compare stable IDs in Excel or Sheets. The extension does not label non-followers itself, output JSON, monitor on a schedule, enrich email/phone data, sync a CRM, or automate follows, unfollows, or messages.
2. Unfollio
Best for: a free browser check when you already have the official ZIP.
Unfollio's public checker says it opens the original ZIP in the current browser tab, does not upload it, and can show current non-followers, mutuals, follower-only accounts, and a CSV export. It correctly separates one-export current relationships from historical unfollows, which need an older audit.
Check which flow you are using. The public checker says it saves nothing; Unfollio's separate saved-audit flow stores derived relationship rows for history. The original ZIP is not the same as the derived audit data.
3. WhoDipped
Best for: choosing between an official ZIP and manually pasted lists.
WhoDipped accepts an Instagram export ZIP or pasted Followers and Following usernames. Its page defines “not following back” as accounts in Following but not Followers, and says calculations happen in the browser. Optional snapshots are stored locally on the device for later comparisons.
Manual input can be convenient for a small list, but it also makes omissions, display-name confusion, and copy errors easier. The site's username-based Quick Check was still marked coming soon when reviewed, so it should not be treated as a live public-profile fetcher.
4. SecureFollow
Best for: a clear split between a current Snapshot and a two-export Diff.
SecureFollow says one ZIP produces current relationship lists and two ZIPs show changes between dates. The free layer supports quick checks and manual two-ZIP comparison. Pro adds saved snapshot history, trends, backup, and full CSV exports.
The page says Pro is a one-time purchase, but the exact amount was not visible in the page reviewed. Treat the price as unknown until the checkout or pricing page is verified.
5. Instagram Follower Check
Best for: a lightweight, no-account ZIP/JSON check with downloadable result tabs.
Instagram Follower Check accepts the export ZIP or separate followers_1.json and following.json files. It exposes not-following-back, not-followed-back, mutual, and pending-request sections with CSV download actions. The publisher says the work happens in the browser and nothing is uploaded or stored.
The page does not document an account-history model. Keep the original ZIP and downloaded results yourself if you need a repeatable audit trail.
Seven checks before trusting a result
- Confirm whether the input is a current browser session, official ZIP, JSON pair, or pasted list.
- Separate one-snapshot relationships from two-snapshot changes.
- Check whether the original file stays local and whether derived rows can be saved remotely.
- Confirm whether CSV is the full result or a preview, and whether “Excel” means native XLSX.
- Record Followers, Following, mutuals, and both one-sided counts.
- Verify
Followers = mutuals + follower-onlyandFollowing = mutuals + following-only. - Review important accounts, deleted/deactivated profiles, partial exports, and mismatched dates or ceilings.
Community reports around export-based checkers include dramatically low counts, incorrect matches caused by export settings, and deactivated accounts mixed into one-sided results. Keep the source files and sample the output before acting.
Limits and privacy boundaries
Web Tidy stops on login, challenge, rate limit, private/unavailable targets, or lost context. Transient errors and HTTP 5xx responses are retried at most three times. Its task states are validating, running, paused, stopping, completed, partial, and failed; local History keeps at most 20 terminal tasks.
The extension requests storage, tabs, and downloads, not cookies, scripting, identity, or alarms. That does not guarantee completeness or prevent Instagram limits. A 1,000-row ceiling means larger lists are bounded observations.
No option here should be used to bypass private profiles, login, or challenges. An exported relationship is not consent for enrichment, outreach, mass unfollowing, long-term retention, or resale.
Frequently asked questions
Does Web Tidy export a finished non-follower list?
No. It exports Followers or Following. You create the current non-follower set by comparing two runs.
Is one official ZIP enough?
It is enough for current relationship categories. It is not enough to prove who unfollowed between two dates.
Which options avoid entering an Instagram password?
The four ZIP-based checkers say they do not request one. Web Tidy uses the Instagram session already open in the browser and does not ask you to paste cookie values, but it still depends on what that session can access.
Can I bulk-unfollow every result?
Web Tidy does not automate unfollowing, and a raw result can include deleted, renamed, unavailable, or unobserved accounts. Review manually first.
