Facebook Export turns supported Facebook comment threads and group-member views into structured review files. The product page currently uses the name Facebook Comment Exporter; the current popup also exposes a Group Members tab.
Quick start#
- Open the supported Facebook page, post, comment thread, or group-member view.
- Open the Web Tidy popup and choose Export.
- Pick Comments or Group Members.
- Run the export against the current supported view.
- Download CSV, XLSX, or JSON and review the rows.
Comment export fields#
Comment rows can include type, feedback ID, expansion token, user name, comment text, comment HTML, attachments, comment ID, parent ID, unified reactors, comment depth, replies count, user ID, profile URL, profile picture, verified flag, created time, source post URL, and exported time.
Use this for visible comment review, moderation handoff, campaign analysis, and structured research. Do not describe it as private inbox access or platform-limit bypass.
Group-member export fields#
Group-member rows can include user ID, user name, profile URL, profile picture, biography, verified flag, friendship status, join status text, scraped time, source group URL, source group ID, and row index.
This is useful when a supported group-member view is available and the user needs a reviewable file. It should not be positioned as private group access or an identity enrichment product.
Formats#
- CSV
- XLSX
- JSON
Troubleshooting#
- If comments are missing, make sure the thread is loaded or expanded in the supported view.
- If group members are missing, make sure the active page is a supported group-member view.
- Keep source URL fields in the export so rows can be audited later.
